    I can't wait till this is downloadable, but how much money/objects are left? I hope you are able to block the rest of the map off :(

    He has no objects left. Besides, blocking off the map is pointless. No one ventures out there. The removal of the Sniper Rifle, Active Camo, and Overshield also make going past the gold line a difficult task. The only real reason you would go out there is to camp with the Neutral Bomb or Oddball, but seeing as how the map doesn't support those two gametypes, it isn't an issue. The map is pretty much done and holds some delicious gameplay as of now. However, it's release is being held back for purposes Noxiw and I won't discuss as of yet. ;)

    That map is looking awesome. It reminds me of Utah Mambo. I will definitely DL this when your done, both for good gaming and eye candy. I'd also be willing to help test some of your other maps, if you want.

    I played on this a while ago, I don't know how the party leader had it but I LOVED IT! The top structure is awesome and great for balancing gameplay. I'm really excited for this to be fully released. if you need any help testing, I would love to!

    The version that you played was almost identical to this one save a few aesthetic changes and the modified grav lift, I think.

    We're probably going to do a **** ton of tests on it very soon, so Noxiw or I will invite you when that time comes, I guess.

    I am assuming that Bwenden was the party leader, he's helped alot with weapons, spawns, testing and feedback. He's held a few test sessions, one of which you were probably in.

    There's been one more fresh change as of, five minutes ago, btw. Ace pointed one thing out to me after you left. (?) So, yeah, hopefully we're still on for the testing tonight. :)

    Even with the new pictures the map looks great, that other half that was untouched from the love of it's father is kind of an eyesore. Are you planning to do anything there?

    There really isn't a way to. I was a TARD and didn't use OLN spawns/weapons so I hit the OLN with about $350 dollars left. :( However, sometime down the road I do plan on making a v2, which will be capable of being larger.

    As of now though, it's not a huge issue that it's blank over there, there aren't any long range weapons on the map, (the longest range is a BR/carbine) and if someone goes out there they're just hurting their team by not getting any kills, and putting a target over their head simotaneously.

    As Scobra mensioned a few pages back, the only reason you would want to go out there would be to camp with a nuetral ball/bomb, and since this map doesn't support those gametypes, it's not an issue.

    The map looks epic but WHERE IS THE OTHER SIDE you only use half of sanbox so it requires no one going onto the other side, so I feel like all this flawless forging is completely wasted. You could at least build a wall part of the way across that side of the map.

    A Wall in this map would:
    1) Ruin it
    2) Provide for a cheap camping spot
    3) Be Escapable
    4) Be a waste of his already maxed out OLN.

    Explanation time:
    1) Duh
    2) The wall would have to be built at least 2 boxes high, and quite a distance out of the map, because if it just stopped at those blinky markers, you CAN sneak around the wall without the guardians shooting at you.
    3) Look at 2
    4) Read his previous posts.

    Plus, having a wall will make people try to break the map and go out there.

    This could make an excellent Asset map! You would have to clean up the bottom portion to get enough money for a class spawn setup though

    I agree.. the layout seems like it's spot on an would play great for asset.

    Anyways, your map is looking pretty epic right now and I'm interested on how this will play for what you want it to (slayer right?)

    Well, it works for slayer, however, it's better off playing one bomb or one flag. Thanks anyway though. :)

    Originally it was going to be put on the back burner for a while to finish up Scobra's and I's super secret project, however, this version will be released to the public, and I will be making a version two of this map using OLN. That's right, OLN, the one thing I was RETARDED not to use the first time around. Expect wonderful, wonderful things for version two.









    V2 Fun Facts:
    • Fully functional OLN. = Bigger, Better, EVIN MOAR AWSOMEZ
    • More Gametypes: CTF (multi or single), Assault (multi or single), Territories, King of the Hill, VIP (Asset anyone?), Juggarnaut and Infection. And yes, you did read multi-flag and multi-bomb. :) Fully functional fun-for-all! :D
    • New, improved, even smoother, structures.
    • New gameplay modifying transportation routes. (All staying with the original Epivolc feeling.)
    • Epicolv. Expect to see a preview soon. :)
    As for the DL link for this version, keep an eye on competatives, it'll be up and ready to download tonight! Although B.net is having some issues and won't give me my recent images, so... it'll be up asap. :) I'll keep you alerted.

    I'll also be PM'ing everyone who posted here to let them know. :)

    EDIT: B.net up again, beggining work on official thread. :)
