@Matty, in future review the previous song, more details are in the OP. Anyway, OT. Your song was quite nice. Very relaxing, almost enchanting. The singer sounded almost like Lilly Allen, but she was still mesmerizing. Loved the song, nice choice, 8 / 10. Daft Punk - Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger. I know it's overplayed, but ignore that. YouTube- Daft Bodies - Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger Oh yeah, and ignore the dancing. Even though it gets pretty cool from about midway onwards.
I've always been a daft punk fan, and that's an excellent song by them. I particularly enjoy the repetition in lyrics, as well as a similar beat going through. They are truly talented DJs. YouTube- M83 - Graveyard Girl video (dir Mathew Frost)
I haven't posted on this thread for a while. The song is rather... hypnotic. Kind of. I alike the bad quality-ish feel to the video, it adds to the feeling of ... whatever feeling the video was aiming for. I honestly can't understand the lyrics, and the girl has a weird obsession with dogs. Also, I don't understand what the point of the video is, does she mourn over the loss of her dog and then get a boyfriend? YouTube- Foo Fighters - Word Forward (Album Version)
I haven't heard this song by the Foo Fighters before. The acostic begining was nice and this is gonna sound funny but the rest of the song sounded like dropkickmurpheys minus the bag pipes lol. < not a bad thing it wasn't bad since it sounds different from the other songs done by them. Not that big of a fan of rap, but I really like the background music and beat. It's really chill. YouTube- Cookie Monsta - Optimus Prime
Not quite sure whether to thank you or demand an apology, I like it, but it's not what I'd generally listen to. It was awesome, but not much to it, a little.. well.. nothing special, needed more to it. 7/10. Sidhe Click the play button on 'number 7 - neon mines'
Well, first off I'd say I was reminded of Wierd science when I first heard this. It has a catchy beat to it but I immeadiatly forgot it when it was over. 6/10. Now this video is by Sex Machineguns, they easily will remind any metal fan about Iron Maiden or Judas Priest. Since It's in a different language really listen to it before you judge it (beat, riffs, drumming, etc.). Besides if you don't like the song watch anyway you'll laugh your ass off at the singer. HAHAHAH I laughed so hard watching that metal video yes the singer made me laugh hard lol. 9/10 for making me laugh out loud. :] Mine: YouTube- MATT AND KIM - DAYLIGHT
Very nice Quite a 'feel good' song, had rhythm, and was generally great, because the band were very 'together'. No-one tried to out-do the others and show off, it was generally a great chill out song. 8 or 9 /10 YouTube- Mumford and Sons - Little Lion Man
Quite a good song, and the band flows really well together, love the strictly acoustic sound, making them a notable addition to the folk rock genre. Good listen, thanks for having me review it 9/10 YouTube- Big Coat - Wiretree
Very laid back, quite an original tone. Not really much like anything I've ever heard before, but I really like it. Thanks. 8/10. YouTube- Broadcast Yourself. Apologies for it being a link. Time for somethin' a lil' diffrent. TY BRDLNDs.
this is what came up when i clicked it This video contains content from UMG, who has decided to block it in your country. YouTube- Michael Jackson - Smooth Criminal
If you want to search for my song, youtube 'Cage the Elephant - Ain't no rest for the wicked' Yours; Quite a classic. Truly a talented man, and is missed. While this isn't my favourite of his, it's such a good song to get into. It's very 'harcore' Is suppose, and is generally a great. 8/10. YouTube- Cheryl Cole - 3 Words
This was a rather soothing song. The thing that caught my immediate attention was the guitar at the beggining, and from there it was a calm, relaxing melody, with a nice bass. The only parts I didn't like were some of the vocals. Will I Am is always great, though. I liked the song overall. 8/10 YouTube- COLDPLAY - WHITE SHADOWS
I'm quite the fan of coldplay, so call me biased, but that was great. Such brilliant co-ordinance between the members, worked perfectly. 8/10. Hadn't heard that one before. YouTube- Sidney Samson - Riverside (Original Mix)
I really didn't like it... The synthesizers were too fast of a tempo for me, and the mixing needs work. It was all going at the same, at very similar levels, so the tracks just jumbled into one another and it didn't sound that good at all. It was also quite repetive until around the 4 minute mark. Overall 3/10 YouTube- The White Stripes - 300 M.P.H. Torrential Outpour Blues
I really have mixed feelings about this song. I like that it has changes in beat and speed but I believe that it changes tempo to rapidly and for to short of a time. I like the singers voice however, soothing but strong. Some of the drums seem a little to... I can't put the correct word on it, I wanna almost say spastic but I believe that is to harsh and strong of a word for it. All in all I would not listen to it as a song for enjoyment purposes but I did not think it was a bad song either. 7/10 Just saying, listen through the whole song, the end is really what makes me enjoy the song so much. Modest Mouse- Parting of the sensory YouTube- Parting of the Sensory (Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead) This really is an epic song, the way it increases in tempo and sound somewhat reminds me of stairway to heaven. Requiem for a dream-Winter: Lux Aeterna YouTube- Requiem for a dream
I give it a 6/10 I like the increasing tempo too, and it sounds epic. Thing is I think its a bit too long and repetitive. Here is a little song I am liking YouTube- Skillet - Hero (lyrics)
Not really my cup of tea, but the production on the song was well done, that being said I've never herd of the band and if I where to hear the song out side of the context (e.g. randomly playing on the radio or some place else) I would mistake if for maybe a Breaking Benjamin (I think, I'm not that hip on popular mainstream bands) song. I did give it a 6/10 Lets have a go at some Folk / Post-punk. YouTube- Mystery Jets - Young Love
