I've been wondering if anyone on forgehub likes it besides me. If you do like Warhammer 40,000 then tell me your favorite faction.
by faction you meen what? anyway Im starting a grey knights army. its a rather expensive army becauce its all metal
i hav'nt played for about a year but i have a 3,200 point army of blood angels (space marines) and 800 or so in tyranids.
Space Marines are awesome, but the new Tyranids are definitely the coolest. They're like zerglings but better. I'm going to get Dawn of War II once I can afford it, and once I get my new graphics card :|
i play the inquisition as well as some space marines here and there... though i find fantasy more enjoyable but thats just me... also i don't really play as much as collect lately.
I like it. I used to play necrons. My brother is a fanatic though. He has a couple space marine armys, a necron army, a tau army, a necron army, 2 eldar armies, hes working on a terminator army, and he has a bunch of miscellanious pieces from various other armies. Its a bit ridiculous.
Dimmest I didn't know you played 40k... Omg...really! I also did, Zendarrun, it has been forever it seems since I played the game. I own the Models as well play on PC(Dawn of war) I sported Dark Angles (Spacemarines) 3rd Company..... I may have to dig up some of the models to take a pictures for you. I don't actually play any more but I sported a 3k point army. I mixed up a well balanced army and even played in a few Tournaments. Have you gone to Gamesday or any of the events tied with GamesWorkshop?
I haven't played in a really long time but my brother still does from time to time when he isn't at college. He is part of a group that organizes tournements. Hes been to way to many events to count.
I used to play it fairly often but now I just tend to build and convert single models according to my whims at the time. If you look around my house I have bits of nearly every army in 40K and Warhammer from various people in my family collecting it. I myself have 1500 Eldar and 2000 of Space Wolves. Haven't played a game in a good while. Living in the UK has its perks with GW as I've visted the HQ and been to the UK Gamesday. If your interested in 40K and have some spare time when you come to England its worth a short visit to Warhammer World in Nottingham purely for the chance to go there. And there's a bar
i collect spacemarines, more specifically the ultramarines, but i might paint them differently. ive also started a lot of coversions and kit-bashing too. for instance, come christmas, if a get what i want, ill have a jump pack command squad complete with company standard bearer and commander
I have an army, about 7,000 points of Space Marines. I haven't played though, in... years... I talked with a few friends just recently, and I think I'll be getting down sometime soon.
