Hi. I need an overloaded version of Avalanche to play Custom Games on. I know about the Trip mine trick, but if I save the map after the map overloads, I don't think it will stay overloaded once I start a new game.

Unless, of course, someone here already has this version of the map I can download, that would be fantastic.

    Thanks!

Lol, if your want to permanantly overload the map, I think the method is putting pretty much every possible wep on a weapon holder and all equipment. Trip mines wont work, AT ALL -.-

Yep, trip mines are restricted to the round in which they were placed. Basically, what B3NW said works but I'm sure it can be done many other ways.

can i just ask... why do you need to overload avalanche??? would it just stop the man cannons from working?

I don't know about permanently overloading Avalanche, but you can just overload it with Trip Mines, etc, and then block off the man cannons with forge objects (I'm assuming that's why you want it overloaded).

    This.

Overloading will occasionally cause some of the forged objects you place to not spawn in addition to shutting off things like man cannons and shield doors. If your purpose is to shut off the man cannons you'd be better served blocking them via ghost merging.

Overloading only works in the round and game in which it is completed, and also does not work in custom games. The only affected part of maps are: man cannons, guardians, shield doors, and most importantly LAG. The only use for this on avalanche is to place objects over the mancannons which can be easily accomplished with ghostmerging.

Ah, okay, I will look into ghost merging then, as its called. I want to disable the man cannons' function and visual effects for a machinima set, but I'll see where this gets me.
