Would you like to use Pelicans or Phantoms in Halo 3/ Halo Reach?

They should also be able to pick up vehicles, like when they come in and drop off tanks in campaign.
Also the pelican should be more powerful with the built in guns, as the phantom has two turrets with better shots.

Actually phantoms were introduced in 2531, and The Fall of Reach (battle of Halo: Reach) was in 2552. Halo 1 starts seconds after the end of Reach battle, when The Pillar of Autumn ran away

Shades are not off topic, the gun on the front of the phantom is a shade

Well

The only thing you forgot was that they aren't deletable like the Elephants but can be relocated on large maps like Avalanche or Sandtrap and possibly can be spawned on Sandbox.

uhm, I think a scarab might be just a bit too far...even a map the size of avalanche or sandtrap would be too small for a scarab to be non-overpowering, and those maps are about as big as you could get without making things a bit too big.

 

Taking the idea of crawling on the hull to the cargo bay, maybe he could hang from the edge of the passenger area and throw a grenade in, damaging or killing everyone in the pelican.

 

But u got to admit tht wud be amazingly fun.....trying to infiltrate a scarab in BTB..

 

I wish you actually get off the Phantom in the beggining of invasion, it would be pretty epic to be looking from the Phantom on your way to the drop area. Some of the big maps in Reach could probably work for using these in multiplayer, I just don't forsee it happening unfortunatly.

Since I love dinosaurs, I'd pick a Phantom.

 

I Guess tht a pelican and or phantom can be used for many purposes.if it was in matchmaking i wud use manly for a tactical purpose..

 

I'd use the pelican. I just love the look and i hate the look of the phantom.

 

Pelican is UNSC. UNSC>Covenant. Pelican=Awesome

 

Pelican = Awesome, looks cool, is Human, has missiles, has mini-gun turret on the back.

Phantom = Weak, looks gay, is Covenant, has gay plasma shots, has 2 gay plasma cannons.

I think we know who wins.

 

Where's the front window?

 

It doesn't, it has a cockpit and they see where they're going by computer screens hooked to cameras The cockpit is at the nose of the ship.

 

If you ever played Halo: Custom Edition on the computer you could fly a pelican, a longsword, and probably other stuff. However the flight controls were awful and i don't think the pelican had any weapons.
