i dont know why, but i loved the ending so much. i guess i just thought it was absolutely hilarious and random, it fit the rest of the game perfectly.

the final "boss" was disappointingly easy, but i liked how it ended for the most part. especially the CL4P-TP part.

    lol.
Dude got screwed though. Did all that to open the vault and didn't even get to see what was inside. Just kill the giant ****** face squid thing and then oh so sorry the vault cannot be re-opened for another 500 years or whatever.

To quote a famous internet comic, "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU..."

Waylander you *****, use ****ing spoilers.

and that was the entire point. You're building up to see what's inside the vault and instead of it being something amazing, like every other "journey" story, it's you protecting the world.

Besides the story was pretty much nonexistent.

    I does not know how.

lol. Still, I might have liked it better if my jobless flatmate had not been playing it all day everyday regardless of what the people paying rent and bills wanted.

Regarding the ending and the vault: Spoilers!

Of course there are no treasures in the vault, that's the whole point. The idea that the vault contained fantastic loot was a RUMOUR that was created by the inhabitants of Pandora. No one REALLY knew what was in it, but people assumed a kind of "Bank Vault". There is also another way to describe a vault - a "Prison Vault", and guess what it really was? That's right! It was a containment cell created to imprison the Destroyer.

The guardian angel, presumably, knew this and that was why she put you through all those trials; to ensure that you were prepared for the fight ahead. There are many theories as to why she did this and I'm not going to list them all.

Needless to say, there were never any treasures in the vault. You were mislead the whole time to believe there were; everyone was mislead.

Think about it, why the hell would anyone store and awesome stash of weapons and valuables in a vault with a dangerous homocidal being. You don't go around putting rocket launchers in prison cells do you?!

It all makes sense when you actually realise it. I thought it was a clever way of using the idea of a "vault" and playing on its double meaning, but leading you to believe it was a bank vault instead of a prison vault the whole time.

I admit they could have delivered the twist a little better, but it just seems as though most people don't really get it. They're like "OK cool there was actually a monster in there, didn't expect that. Hey, what gives? Why can't I go inside the vault and collect all the 'phat loot' now that I killed it?!" I just have one thing to say to those people; FACEPALM!!!!

It seems those people require someone to spell it out, because the game didn't (You know, the big world destroying beast wasn't a give away or anything). IT'S A FREAKIN' PRISON VAULT, NOT A TREASURE VAULT!!!

P.S. yeah that sucks FBU. I wondered why some class mods had, what appeared to be, the exact same stats but different prices. Now I know why!

    Why you-

Ah who cares? The game doesn't have that much replay value, or competitive multiplayer, so weapon stats are hardly important.

Only, the giant squid doesn't make any sense and there was no real storyline to begin with... So... yea....

Don't get me wrong, I'm all up for a final boss, but... the Cthulu? Really?

FPS RGP, focus on looting. millions of randomly generated weapons.

And can you do infinite playthroughs? Or is it just 2?
