Eridian weapons are considered there own class as alian weapons or whatever but I call them what they are used like the thunderstorm is like a shotgun, Cannon is like a sniper, and etc... Also has anyone ever found any of those pearl weapons there like the rarest weapons in the game as what i heard. Did anyone find one yet???
Its not a make.. sry lol, its in the name of the weapon. Btw in new havan, near to where you find the basement, is another house with a person standing infront of it... is it me, or can you hear voices coming from that house?
i had one similar, just a bit less damage and more accuracy. and no zoom. i loved it so much. but i think i sold it by accident. i remember selling some extra weps that i had, then left the game. when i got back on later, it was gone. i was devastated :C one think that ive noticed is that i really dont like weapons with scopes, except revolvers. and sometimes a thumper smg. and obviously snipes.
I prefer scoped for my repeater/revolver and my AR. but for my SMG and shotty I like them with iron sights. anywho, what are the level scales (or is it marked by progress in the story?) because I thought I'd start getting level 30 weapons when I hit 30, but I'm at 31 and im still getting low to mid 20s.
The higher the level of the weapon, the more rare they are. Don't worry, the good weapons are out there, you just have to get lucky enough to find them. Once you start Playthough 2, they are more common. Quick tip: Weapon chests and stores reset upon loading a character. So get to a place with a couple chests (New Haven has four on the rooftops), check each of them, then exit and reload your character. This is also a great way to make some quick cash.
I remember reading somewhere that there are three difficulties which can change the loot etc. Playthrough 1 Playthrough 2 Level 50 The level of the weapon seems to be around the level of the mob you got it from. At level 50, i noticed that the mobs had different names, instead of 'badass', there called 'superbad' and instead of bruiser there called bully, etc. also at level 50, when you re-fight bosses (just go to where the boss would spawn and it should be there, apart from the destroyer.) their unique weapons they drop are scaled to level 48. The highest level weapons i have seen are for 49, all of which were eridian weapons. All of the other weapons were for level 48. Btw new haven has 5 chests one of them is not on a rooftop, and if you count the two chests in the basement, theres 7
You mean I've been missing them all this time? Lame. The others are inside the town walls, though, right? I'm not going to trek across the map for one chest... And where the eff is the basement? My exploring skills must not be up to par...
The basement is kind of a glitch... To get to it, you need to be on the quest where it says "Challange overcome", where you have to defeat the hive. dont do any of the quest, go straight to new haven. then go to the blue house, with a mail box out front, near the guy that tells you to search for his dirty mags. The 5th chest in new haven is near the quest board in a metal like structure. I think it only appears after you fix the claptrap.
Scarfaced gave me a sniper that does 496 damage, but it's a level 40 :/ Still have 11 levels to go...
i do that all the time. The only ones worth opening are the reds though. my friend says its cheating. i say cheating is relative. its no more cheating than modded shots in NHL (his favorite game). now in playthrough 2, im doing it after i beat scar. i just load it up and can get to that chest in 1 phasewalk. and now scar is respawning, which gives me some good experience for a pretty easy kill now. plus you get an elemental artifact every time. even if you cant use it, you can sell it for about $50,000. My favorite weapon now is a thumper that does around 200 damage at 4 rounds/sec. its works well since the SMG ammo capacity is so high, and i have another SMG that regens ammo pretty quickly. so i just switch to that when im running between fights, and its impossible to run out of ammo. currently a level 39 siren btw.
Furthermore to the New Haven resetting chests tip: I also always load it up in Splitscreen with a second controller playing as the same character to me. For example, I'm Siren, so I load up another Siren on my second controller. With more than one player in the game you get better loot and, because you're both the same character, it's more likely to be loot related to your build. Obviously you could also gather 3 other people instead and have 4 players, to make this trick even better. The problem is having to end the the game and reinvite the players everytime. So I prefer the Splitscreen approach. I was wondering if anyone knew a really good way to get artifacts? I've been trying for ages to get at least a level 5 Incendiary artifact for my Siren. The best "sure fire" method (no pun intended) to at least getting a level 4 incendiary artifact was to do the "Moe and Marley" Side-Quest from the Fyrestone Bounty Board. Something else that I'd like to try out, but haven't had the chance, would be to have 4 Sirens, all with Catalyst Mods. My catalyst mod gives about 24% Team Action Skill Cooldown (I'm sure there are even better ones than that). So I wanted to see if it would be possible to nullify the Action Skill cooldown completely. Unlimited Phasewalk = God Mode
Weapons Well so far i've found a combat rifle with a fire rate of 11.2, an 89 clip size that does 250 damage. A rocket launcher that does 1900 damage x 2 and a fire's 3 rockets a time and a reasonable reload time, a sniper that does 900 damage and fires at 1.4 and a shotgun that is 142 x 11. Im a lvl 50 soilder mind lol. But im still searching for the best weapons...
ATLAS Pearl Chimera Orange colored... ATLAS PEARL CHIMERA Pistol... 366 dmg... "A Beast of Many Forms - Fire, Lightning, Poison"... Every shot has a different elemental dmg effect... Wish I could find a rifle like that... the pistol is unstoppable on second play through Also, orange HARD VOLCANO... 713 dmg with high elemental chance to ignite sniper... "Pele demands sacrifice" oh and anyone know why are white thanatos weapons higher than orange... have 3, cant figure out what makes them special... they all say "Big Tony says Hi"
