I'm in the middle of a map on sandbox, and am running out of $ quick, and was wondering if you HAVE to do the money glitch from the start of the game, or can you do it while in the middle of making a map (Sandbox)

You can do it in the middle but you might have to delete some stuff to get all the glitch in, plus you will probably be limited to what you can glitch. Also if you're not using an OLN canvas there really isn't much point.

A map that uses the original sandbox items and spawns, like a stacked canvas.

Every bungie has a solid item limit. I think it is around 200 items. Every item counts, unfortunately when you delete the default items, your OLN does not go up. this doesnt affect you unless your budget glitching or on sandbox. An oln canvas has all of the default items stacked to the side for later use incase you hit the limit.

EDIT: dang, you beat me to it :p

The best thing to do would be to restart and use an ultimate budget glitched stacked canvas. Here's one that has the items stacked in the sky bubble (just block the spawns in the sky bubble and put 2 in the crypt) Bungie.net : Halo 3 File Details

or you could try budget glitching but you'd probably only get a few things glitched.

Ok, so wait, how would I get the items in the sky to the main level? I'm not sure if you already said this, I think I misunderstood. Or is this even possible?

Just grab the item, go through the teleporter, and it should teleport with you. It's kind of a hassle though. I'd just use a OLN map on the main layer. MetaWaddleDee has a map with OLN on the main level + The crypt is covered by collums instead of the ugly block flat, so it looks much nicer.

I'm noticing a glitch here that might affect making the map. Is it just me or do the items get all glitchy when you try and change "Place at Start" to No. I'm finding that If you set that option, and restart the round, it comes back, but will randomly disappear if you touch/move it.

I'm not sure if this happens to all the objects, because I've only tried it on objects that were automatically there from the start. I'm using this map:Bungie.net : Halo 3 File Details

On sandbox, 640 with all OLN (default) objects still on the map. I really find this useful, because I try to count my objects as I place them, and thought it may help. And, yes you can budget glitch halfway through, but it may involve deleting someof your objects.

This is because they are OLN, and OLN objects are stupid.

You can do it anytime, as long as you have at least 2 objects of each left.

If you don't, you don't really need to glitch EVERY object, just the ones you are going to use a lot.

It doesn't look like anybody really answered this person's question. So, yes you can do it in the middle, but no you don't have to delete some stuff. If you're attempting the Unlimited Budget Glitch, don't bother, it's a waste of time.

As for the Ultimate Budget Glitch, it's simple. Go through as many objects as you can, setting the run time maximum of each object to y=x+1. Where X equals the number of objects on map, and Y equals the run time maximum. Once you run out of money, save the game, end it, restart it, and then continue saving and ending until all of the objects are UBG'd.
