I think the hammers would add the deflect/movement, and the ability to push and disrupt the people throwing the gernades. I like the pit in the middle, but other than that this is a relatively normal dodgeball map.
I will try it with the hammers this weekend, but cant post anything for 7 days. Stupid moderators at bungie.

The map seems almost flawless to me. The one thing you could do in order to include the hammers is to make the health very low. Since you must stick the person in order to get the kill, it doesn't matter if your health is very low. However, when you try to hammer yourself or another teammate, they will end up dying because they run out of hit points.
While this sort of map has been done before, this looks pretty good. The only thing I see wrong is that someone could fall in the pit and ot die, just stand there, I could be wrong though.
You can, but its difficult with all the grav lifts and man cannons. Plus you are at a disadvantage being stuck in a small area not able to move.
Don't you think it's possable if a guy could jump across the pit, then slice a enemy, and he would be up there? I havn't played it yet, but it looks pretty possable doesn't it? If not, then excuse me. If it can happen, you could put a wall flat down and float it above the pit so if they jump they fall down faster after hitting the wall or chain wall.
This is a little different, even though I have never played the stickball map. So I downloaded it, and will play it when I get home!

After playing stickball, you obviously never downloaded my map or played it. This is done better then stickball ( no offense to the person who made stickball, it was still alot of fun! : ) ) I would love to have this map featured if they felt it was better then stickball, which I believe it is. I dont like tooting my own horn, but this is one of the better dodgeball maps I have seen, and have been told so by others.
