Xbox Live Preview Program: Zune, Facebook and Twitter

I made a new account, (every xbox gives you 3 gold accounts for 1 month each) with a new email and I told everything that I was 21. My facebook twitter & zune are connected with this account now, until I turn 18.

I suggest you try the same, or you might just have to wait.
In the full version, it's probably different, or i'd expect that they'd at least release an update.

 

I had already made 3 free gold accounts so now I have to wait a ****ing year to use it or wait for parental controls to get an update. I think they said that it wouldn't be added with this update. Oh well I have a laptop and really don't use facebook or twitter much.

 

Last FM arrghh

i wanna listen to system or jacko or led zepplin
but it only gives one song then changes to another artist

i had the understanding that the Kate bush channel played kate bush

and also i want to listen to last fm while playing games, not on the last fm board

 

If you want your account changed from a child account to a normal one, do the following:

(This is for hotmail cause thats what I use)
Go to hotmail.com
Log in to your email
Go to: Profile
Go to: Details
Then about halfway down the page it should have a column labeled "About (your first name)"
Click Edit
At the very top, there should be a box to type in your age, Do something like 21 then scroll down and click save.
Wait about an hour or so
Go to xbox.com and sign in with your email
Click on your gamertag
(Now here's where it might mess up, I did this before NXE so I may be wrong on this)
There should be something saying "Promote Account" Somewhere. Find it, click it, and wait about another hour.
Sign on to your xbox and you should be able to use any stuff you'd have to be over 18 for.

Ah awesome. Love that i thought ahead. I already had my birthdate set to 1990 when i registered my hotmail i dont have to change a thing.

 

Okay, I made a new email on hotmail with a birth date of 2000.
So, I poked around for a bit and found out how to change your age a different way.

Go to hotmail.com
Sign in
click on "Mail" tab
In the top right corner under your name, there should be a pull down tab labeled "Options" Click it
Go to the bottom of that and click More Options
Click "View and edit your personal information"
Click "Registered Information"
The second option down should be your date of birth, change it to be anything before 1990
Click Save then Wait about an hour
Go to xbox.com
Sign in with your email
Click on your gamertag

Same for me; and I changed my age yesterday... I'm guessing this doesn't work anymore?

 

I guess it's possible for it to work automatically? or maybe there's an option on the xbox......?

I don't know. As I said, I did it before NXE so the site changed alot since then. Just try using it. It might have promoted your account automatically.

 

the new update isnt that good besides the fact u can listen to the radio on ur xbox 360

 

Has anyone tried out xbox sky yet?

 

they dont have sky out yet, im not sure when its coming out

 

I downloaded this sky app thing the same way as FB & twitter, despite not having sky. I thought this means that it's out, it said that you could sign in with sky ID & password or whatever and start watching. And I can't be bothered to pay 15 pound a month for a new xbox sky account with channels I wouldn't watch anyway.

oh sky tv, yah thats not up yet. i hope it is soon. i think halo waypoint comes out this friday though
