This deserves 2 get featured so much! Not only I'd this hilariously fun to play with people who don't know aboutthe death ground, but it is just a classic map. And to back up someones point above, the best tactic is to take potsots at people in te ground. Im so glad this got featured... keep up the great work!
I also played this a long time ago, I like it and thought that it was very unique. I didn't know that furious made it, it was fun but I hope that you fixed it so you cant get out of the map, or in the map I should say...
Lol i thought this was already featured... Its definately a nice map with the cool lava theme Frankly standoff doesnt have the most materials for straight off maps as it is.Nicely done Burger hate to be the bearer of bad news but this cant be integrated onto maps. Its just past the barriers on standoff and that 3 seonds killing yourself thing is just how bungie made that part of standoff,hope this helps. And i really hope that "hes just an ex-guilder!!!" crap doesnt start,it has nothing to do with the map at all. Besides ex-guilders=good forgers...surely it makes sense hey're gonna have a few features
Top notch work as usual Furious. I am 99% sure I downloaded this when you first released it,but I'm going to DL it again just in case. Keep up the good work, and bummer that you lost guilder status shortly after you achieved it,but hey,it's not like your work is unknown around these parts.
I saw this map a while ago when you first posted it, I didn't think it looked or sounded very exciting or original. I ended up joining a custom game of yours the next day while you were playing it though. Ingame I found it to be a lot more exciting than I thought. I didn't really like the rockets we played, but when I went back later and played a normal Slayer match it was great.
I swear if someone tries to resurect that damned argument again im gonna go to there house,do my patented "silly magician" jiujutsu hold,set fire to their computer and make them watch as i dance on the ashes. This map has been on the site for a LONG time,furious to my knowledge has yet to auto feature one of his mpas without posting it to the forum first even while he was a guilder
Sorry about what I said, I did not read this. You might think about having another mod post to avoid the argument all together.
I considered that, but then I decided that I don't want to have to do extra work because the community does not trust me. Honestly, if I wanted to get something featured, I could get someone else to post for me. One of my maps (Exacted) still has not been featured and I could easily do it if I wanted to. But the community needs to learn to trust the staff. We're not as self-involved and selfish as some people make us out to be. Anyway, sorry for the mini-rant. And thanks to everyone for the positive comments. I know it doesn't look like much, but it's a fun map.
Yeah, I like how you didn't load the place with interlocking; it is simple and playable, which makes it fun. My favorite part has to be the crates and knocking them out w/ the rocket launcher.
Oh ofc how could we be so blind?Don't back up your point or anything. It has got the death ground as a new feature,i dont think any other maps currently have anything like that,aside from that its just a nicely built map. Besides its a fun map thats been on the site a good while with plenty of people saying how great it is.It fully deserved the feature
