I made the whole post, and I expect compensation... ____Until Darkness____ You may survive the day, but can you live through the night? Until Darkness is not just another zombie map. This one is different. With the use of Forge Filters, the map progresses from daylight, to nighttime. During the night, it is truly epic. But, can you use the difficulties in the night to your advantage? Will you find a base to hold out in, or will you wander the streets, exposed, with the infected swarming about? Lets start with the zombie spawn, in the pipes. The humans spawn all around the map. Mancannons add some light, but don't count on the them to protect you from the zombies. Here's the filters that show how the map will progress. At start, normal. After some time... After that... ... Lastly... The second and third changes don't seem like much in these picture, but you can tell in game. Downloads (Click each image to download) I will also reply for Eyeless, so post away.
This looks pretty cool. May i ask which filters you used in wich order pl0x. I dont get the mancannons but i gotta check it out. I wont download for the only fact i said i would avoid the flood, I'm not sayins its bad, just avoiding the flood =|
I'm not entirely sure about the filters. If I remember correctly, gloomy and colorblind are in there. Maybe old timey, but I'm not entirely sure. The mancannons are 'lights'. Edit: I think Gloomy, Colorblind, Juicy, and Old Timey. No particular order there.
Okay. I wanan give my hand to this on avalanche or blackout. When i look at the pictures it reminds me of GoW everytime. Especially that turret under bridge part!!
Thanks for posting this Dark. Oh and to have the filters make the map get darker as you play you first place juicy then glommy, then colorblind and finaly oldtimey. Make all the filters not spawn at begining of the rounds and then set them to spawn in order by making them spawn at different times.
Yes you were right I hope this will help other people who want a map to get darker as you play it. This tecnique can be used on all three maps and they work pretty well. If I can I'll show you guys better pics of the map because there are many things not shown in the photos above.
Yeah, I rushed with the pictures. And I hit my 50 screenshot limit... so I had to delete some others.
Besides lighting, what else is different? Do more weapons spawn? It would be interesting if someone remade Time Glitch's I am Legend with lighting effects.
Looks pretty cool. I like how the round starts normal and it gets darker and darker like the day is ending. Good name for the map too
thats a really cool idea, but i hope there is a time limit ... cuz night doesnt last forever! Right ?
My bad yes the game is only 6 minutes long so you have 2 mins of darkness when its night time to fight in Then the round is over.
