Hey everyone, this is the Halo Quiz Thread! Welcome to the Halo Quiz Thread Knowing a great deal is not the same as being smart; intelligence is not information alone but also judgment, the manner in which information is collected and used. - Dr. Carl Sagan Rules 1. Only one question should be asked at a time. 2. The first person to answer correctly will be responsible for providing the next question. 3. If you know that you will not be able to stay to validate a response to your question within 30 minutes, either please don't ask or someone else should ask another question to keep the quiz flowing. 4. Be patient. It can take time to come up with a good question. If you answer a question correctly, you will have 30 minutes to come up with your own question. Your time will start when your answer is validated. After that time someone else may take over. 6. PLEASE DO NOT SPAM If you have a question about the rules or about anything that is not Quiz related, please refrain from posting it in this thread because it will make the moderators grumpy. 8. If the person who asked the question is offline for more than 4-5 hours, and someone has already answered, then anyone ma take the question. HOWEVER if they have been online in the last 4 hours since you posted the answer, assume your answer is wrong. If you know the answer 100% is correct and you can verify it, then you can validate the answer and let that person go. 9. Keep the questions about strictly the video games, not books or animated series. This does extend to Halo 3 ODST, Halo Wars, and any licensed Halo game. 10. You may ask questions about RvB (Red Vs Blue) if you would like. but nothing too obscure please If you have no idea, then you may use this website: Halopedia, the Halo Wiki - Halo, Halo 2, Halo 3, and more 1st question: Plasma grenades will not stick to walls. What is the one exception of this rule?
He went through the genetic augmentation that the Spartan I's did giving him some type of immunity (forgot what it was) so flood can not infect him.
No, the flood don't attack him because he has Boren's Syndrome, causing the flood to not want to latch on to him, because they see him as a subject that has too much damage in the body to be able to survive on him. The flood cells don't attack simply because Johnson's body is too high risk to try and replicate themselves into him. /end
True. But I thought it messed up his spine or somthing and that's why the flood can't infect him, it's the same reason they don't infect grunts or jackals. You're up, youtuber.
i know it has to do with borens syndrome, but i think it was that it altered something genetically that made the flood unable to infect him, but willing to. in the video you see from Jenkins perspective, Johnson is quite obviously being attacked. so anyway its been an hour so....ill go name the arbiter that Sgt Forge killed at the Apex.
I would answer but i have no clue and its been 4 hrs. So i guess i'll give it a go sry man. Name the queen kigyar that tried to kill the Hugarouk from Contact Harvest (hint its like in chapter 5, remember the Hugarouk and that grunt got saved by some brutes after they left in an escape pod)
Can I request that this stays to the video game series rather than the books, then all of us can participate.
read the rules. it says that if an answer is given and the asker is not active after 4 hours and cannot confirm it, someone else can go. but if they have been active, then assume your answer is wrong. Also: If you know the answer without a doubt, you can confirm it. make sure it is 100% correct though. PS: it's Huragok Added to the rules. Also: if you need help, the website: Halopedia, the Halo Wiki - Halo, Halo 2, Halo 3, and more can help greatly. PS: thats where i got the arbiter question from :squirrel_wink:
Isn't the Arbiter the specific Elite in the Halo series that you play as? So wouldn't that mean your question is written incorrectly due to the fact that the Arbiter was not killed as far as I know. It was in fact a specific Elite. Try not to get Arbiter and Elite mixed up... Or maybe it's just me. Anyways, it's been 7 hours. So let's get this show on the road! There are five glitches that allow you to manipulate objects into a map's geometry during a forge session. Name those five.
Classic geomerging, pushed in by an interlocked box. Door geomerging, pushed in by passable sections of doors. Teardrop merging. ghost merging. wiggle merging. /question
i said the one that is killed by Sgt Forge at the Apex. this is in halo wars. here is the answer: Ripa 'Moramee - Halopedia, the Halo Wiki - Halo 2, Halo 3, ODST, and more Ripa 'Moramee was the Arbiter in Halo Wars, and he was killed by Sgt Forge by a knife to the neck and a sword to the torso, then rolled off a high cliff.
There were hundreds of arbiters. All dying in the battle they were chosen for, except the arbiter from Halo 2 and on.
