RUSH YouTube Video: Spoiler YouTube - Halo 3 Racetrack | Rush Rush is a Battle Track I finished recently. It may not be the most aesthetically pleasing track ever, but I've put a lot of effort into it. It plays very well, and I guarantee you will enjoy it. By the way, this map has absolutely no no-clipping (otherwise known as counter merging, or ghost merging) anywhere in the map. Horrah! You finally finished this. You did a lot of changes since I saw it, and I have to play it with you some time. I'll have to try it for myself as well. But looks pretty awesome, loving the curves and turns and hopefully it plays well for Battle Tracks. Nice job Melty.
In race tracks i find it easyer to have a starting gate because of the conections some people may start later, it happens to me sometimes i might spawn 10 seconds later then everone else well that's just in my opinion. In the other hand the race track is pretty much a master piece interlocking is very nice. I love the 180 degree turn that is very nicely forged do some tokyo drift on that corner. And with the weapon system when your racing around you have to get off and pick them up. In team games this would be very good but single player games their would be no point. Anyway this map is very well forge that like the third time i have said that but this map rocks dude. 4/5 for now going to download soon
Its a good thing that battletracks has two people per team. Melt, I remember testing this a little while back, it was a lot of fun. I see you fixed the barrier wall that people kept going through. Good job.
Well, I could have done that, but I usually add things like that when I'm done forging the track itself. Anyway, it's a nice idea, but I don't think it'll be happening . I see you're new to Battle Tracks. Battle Tracks is almost exactly like RACETRACKS (by c u l8r) except the VIP drives around someone on the back of his Mongoose, and the person on the back tries to kill the other teams. You get 3 points for arriving at the destination, and 1 point per kill.
A very amateur-ish attempt at a racetrack. The track is very simple and features no impressive turns/banks which have become somewhat of a staple for successful racing maps. No challenging areas which require you to drive intelligently. This map was a waste of a download. I honestly did not see "the a lot of effort you put into it." If, you took my honesty in the wrong way, I mean it in a way that people could take what I say and try to improve. Not just bullshit someone just because I don't wanna hurt feelings. That just doesn't make sense and is a big part of what is causing FH's downfall.
Trust me, I can take criticism. You didn't exactly say what I could improve on, but for my next track I'll make it smoother, and larger. Probably on Sandbox.
Just throwing this out there, but it takes far more effort to make a racetrack on foundry than sandbox. just give it a chance.
This map is fun, Even though I just use it to drive around. Not many people build racetrack or battletracks on foundry anymore, so i congratulate you. I have never seen the weapon room in used as a starting point and i think it was a good idea. Thank you for posting on here. Ill rate a 5. This map is so much fun.
I haven't been on FH for about four months, and this is the first map that I looked at today, and from first impressions, (which I am a huge believer in) I can tell this took some time. Everything looks absolutely amazing on playability. My Xbox is overheating now, and I'm pretty pissed that I can't get a chance on this. Anyways, enough of my rambling, you made a very pro-impression track, and I'm impressed. Foundry is hard to do that on, so props to you, my friend. Maybe I can steal my neighbor's Xbox for a while....
Not a bad first racetrack, I admit that it wasn't my favorite but I gotta give you props for 1, doing this on foundry, and 2, doing all this pre ghost merging. A lot of the track could have been made a bit better, but I know you've worked on this map for a while and gave it your best. Pretty fun race track for battle snipes, I'd like to see what you can come up with on sandbox using ghost merging
