Since MLG is lacking KotH gametypes, I decided to make an MLG Longshore map. Beachfront is still in the testing stages. Before I get flamed that it's too big, the blocking of the middle really makes the map smaller. -Made by Breezy.
I like the merges a lot, but from what the pictures show it seems to lack cover. You should take a couple good overview shots as well; only sections of Longshore are shown at a time. For now it's good, it could be improved.
i few of the merges are sloppy, if you need help setting up straight despawn merges, hit me up, I'll help you out with a few thing.
The third picture is too open. It needs much more cover. Some advice, if you are to make a KoTH map, it is suggested that you make it compatible with other gametypes (such as Slayer) as well to provide some variety for the players. I agree with D4N, take some overview pictures.
Some spots on the map are way to open for an MLG type map, I suggest fixing that, maybe a possible version 2?
Honestly, I would say just block off the whole entire top docks. It'll make the map smaller. After that, block off the base interiors except for the one hall way from the open courtyard to the top off the defense base. Then try to add more cover to the courtyard. Move Custom to Bottom Docks, remove both snipers and put one in Gold, keep Rockets in the center. The taco shack could just be blocked off completely. What you have so far seems pretty solid to me, though. If you do make a v2, I'd take what I said into consideration, unless you have a good reason as to why everything is currently how it is.
I think that everything you said is pretty well thought out. I already blocked taco shack but made a ramp up. I think that two snipes makes it like Pit's but I think that I should move one or the other. There also needs to be more cover. I'll continue forging when I feel better.
