Lots of couples play, wives included =p My friend's older brother (has a job wife and lots of money) used to play with him and his older sister. $32-$40 to start off PreBC and TBC included. All together. All MMO's have massive updates with new content. WoW just added another big island with more instances I believe. For free btw. It also cost more for a reason, it is considered the best MMO ever. Because paying for entertainment is unheard of in society today! o/ I had to post this graph =p
For issue twelve of CoX they are adding A big new area complete with story arcs (quest chains to you wow players) -also missions in coh tend to be more than run for 20 minutes and talk to that guy....now talk to that guy...now go back to him....now kill something for 20 hours until you ifnd a shiny gem or your hair falls out whichever first. New power sets for all the classes. New epic archetypes for villians(the equivalent of death knights in wow) A complete revamp of an old area being touched up with new graphics ,set up and other goodies. New costume pieces. New recipes and other bits as drops. For free btw... Theres no real comparison between what you get for your subscription fee alone.
You act like these are new additions to MMO's. I could 1up these but whats the use? You obviously like CoX and that's your preference. To each his own. Yeah because playing co-op in any other game is fine.
Warcraft is an ok game but sometimes, some people take it a bit too seriously. My girlfriend, Toochie, has a 14 year old girl cousin who plays WoW. The sad thing is that shes like really really really addicted to wow, if wow were cocaine, her nose woulda decomposed alredy from having so much of it. Theres been many many times were toochie and i kick her off the computer so we can take the modem and play xbox. She will trow the nastiest tantrums at someone, idk if her love for the game and raging hormones are the cause, but i swear, she has gotten so mad, if a knife was next to her, shed use it to stab one of us. ive had shoes trown at me by her because toochie and i take her "internet" time. she has reached level 70 in about 5 months, and has 5 other accounts, most of em are in there lv.30. all that in 5 months. idk about you, but im preety sure that would take a bit more longer for the civilized person. that is why i have a deep hatred for this game sorta. i mean, dont get me wrong, i liked the game, i tried the free trial, it was ok, i got bored of just hacking and slashing back and forth though, didnt feel like paying the monthly fee thing, and that was the last i ever touched of that. I hate it because of what it turned toochie's douchebag little cousin. well, she was a little douche bag, but not of the super sayan proportion. that is all. Starcraft FTW!!!
After seeing how my classmate brought his Mac-Mini to the Freshmen Banquet just so he could play WoW, I think I'll steer waaay clear from that game. Edit: And what is that supposed to mean?
I have a friend who's brother is that obsesed, he only leaves for school, atleast, he was going to school last I heard. That kind of obsession is just wrong. That's unnatural. As far as playing WoW and having a GF, my classmate plays and he has a GF/soon to be fiance. She doesn't play. You can play WoW and not be obsessed.
Owch, I lol'd I would love to see someone say that to him xD but he's not an addict. I personally have a level 18 human mage, a level 4 Dranai mage and a level 4 Blood Elf mage. MAGEZ FTW! my human mage is a rich mofo lol
WoW is good if you can keep yourself from getting too addicted...I have a 70 lock with 2k gold (cant get my epic flyer yet) but only play about 3 times a week, i used to play more but dont have as much time...though the concept of the game is to get gear so you can get more gear, its pretty fun...if you dont get too addicted like Drawingman's cousin's cousin
my computer is being real chitty so i cant play as often as i used to, now i have to go over to my brothers house until i buy a computer after about 200 hours of work at the movie theater (Then ill buy a ****ing awsim comp and blow t3h noobs out of the water with it xD)
I wish you luck mate XD One good thing ill admit about WoW is it doent take as much of a graphic zoom to play on like other MMO's,it played fine on my really old shitty computer(to give you an idea of how shitty,in the time it took to log on to msn and start a convo...i could have walked to the guys house) But ive got a new one now so when i go to the graphics of a game i can max everything out and its all "THATS ALL YOU GOT!BRING IT ON!!!!!!"

I play wow private servers which are not operated by blizzard so i dont have to pay monthly and i can get up to lvl 70 with one kill. My freinds are also making there own private server that will be up soon so if anyone wants to join just ask.
No people who play on private servers are people that got bored playing regular wow and who dont want to waste their money on a game that gets old quick. I also had 2 lvl 70's before i gto bored and switched to private servers.

I heard Private Servers are fun, but hopefully their not like the World of Warcraft version of Moparscape for all you noobscape players out there...(Runescape) I didn't know you didn't has to pay munez 0_o I should see if I can make one where you don't reach 70 in 1 hit but where you can still do the item thing AND yeah, still be leveling like you normally do.
