well most people who pre order games in th UK from shops such as GAME get the game they preorderd a day early because the shop uses extra insurance to make sure the game arrives on time but ODST is different, it is being released on a tuesday, so the earliest it can be in the post is monday to arrive tuesday because shops dont send out deliveries on saterday or sundey (not sure about saterday for all shops) im just pretty VEX about all this
Ok... so? They got it early, you'll play it tonight. Just wait a little longer. Remember when ODST was announced (as Recon) back last year? Everyone was like "wtf? tell us about an awesome game a year from now?" If you can't wait one day, then I feel sorry for you. And what the hell is VEX?
Your source is worse than your spelling. All major title releases are on tuesdays, and they are still capable of arriving on the monday. Companies that can't dispatch on sunday (which are sparse) will dispatch on the saturday.
dude im dyslexic anyway ive actually got a few friends that are a bit anoyed because of this and VEX is being pissed off
Annoyed because you can't get a game before it's release date? And i'm dyslexic, ironic how you can't spell your condition but i guess we all fail some times, some more than others.
...I missed your point. In the UK, we don't have post delivered to our houses on Sundays, we never have. However, that doesn't mean everyone in the Royal Mail gets the day off, the mail is still being transported and sorted ready for Monday. GAME.co.uk doesn't always deliever games a day early. I didn't get Halo 3 early, but some of my friends did. Its the same with other games, sometimes you get them early but GAME doesn't aim to get everyone's games delivered early, just on time ie: The actual release date.
i googled dyslexic so i duuno and GAME normally does, for every game ive preorderd and most of my freinds
revise and edit. anyway, its one day. and its the day before its supposed to come out. come on. i might go to the midnight release. i go sleep that late anyways.
ive been bored shitless for the past past due to a broken leg and i was hoping on a game to play today i actually felt like this on saterday when i got the email saying so
I've got mine. Yep, in my hand, right now. It was dispatched by play.com on September 18th. So maybe it's just GAME, or your source is ****.
That wasn't a compliment. It doesn't matter what GAME "usually" does, they are quite clear that if you preorder a game then they will deliver it to you for the release date. If you and all your friends usually get all your preordered games early then concider yourself lucky and don't complain that you're not getting the game before its official released!
its just that im: bored shitless been waiting for this game for weeks the hype about it is awsome and loads of people have already got it due it mistakenly released and a bunch of other stuff
Wow, you guys are jerks, especially you, Camel Carcass, the kid really has dyslexia, he corrected it afterwords, now you're making fun of a condition. Wow. On topic, I don't really see the point in waiting an extra day, I have to wait like a week cuz I had to send it to my grandma's in wisconsin, then have her send it here in china... cuz otherwise there's a region restriction for each game which SUCKS!
And I have to wait 3 weeks for my darn Xbox to get back from Microsoft because of the RRoD. I feel no sympathy for those who can't wait a day for a game that didn't come the day before it is officially released. Also, just because others got it early should make you feel "entitled" to getting it a day early. Ultimately, quit your bitching. Also, sorry for your Dyslexia and your broken leg. I can sympathize a bit with the Dyslexia. My spelling is horrible.
I can't afford ODST because i have to pay for a weekend away in december, as well as college and the life it demands. I don't know when i'll be able to get it, but it's probably going to have to be a month away atleast. So yea, **** you.
