I have an old Gateway Windows XP (5-6 years old). As you can see in this screen shot, I have a rather boring and chunky set up. I've DL'd rocket dock, but does anyone have any solutions other than getting a new comp for a sleeker look for my desktop in general? Spoiler
Uh... get a new skin? You can download them. Place them in the skins folder and you're done with that. I'm not too sure what you're asking for though.
Program files > Rocketdock Then when you do it, go to your dock settings > style and then choose the theme.
No, you misunderstood my point. I have rocket dock, and I like the theme I have for it. What I want are tips on toolbar skins, icons, ect. I'm a noob in this field.
If you want a visual style for XP, that's different. If you want icons for Rocketdock, that's different as well, and I don't use unique icons either way so I wouldn't know. You can find both at deviantart.com, in the customization category.
If you can Download XP SP3 cause that's the easiest way to go about it. Get rid of the dock. Look into Gaia themes. Get rid of all your icons, possibly install widgets. Search through the chans for your wallpapers. the /wg/ board. And for Jesus Christ, if you plan on having a female on your desktop, make her at least sexy and/or classy, IN THE LEAST. (/sa/ if you really have to)
Okay: 1) Put all your icons in your rocketdock 2) Put your dock on the left or right of your screen. Somewhere where it can be full-length 3) Get Addons - RocketDock.com - Get good icons for your things in your dock. No-one likes blurry **** 4) You're done! Enjoy your stylish new sleek desktop!
