Factory Cplx 71 Works for and standard game type, assault is recommended... recommended party size ~ 2-12 1-1 This is the starting area for the attackers, the bomb would spawn in the room that is directly below the platform as well as most of the attackers, you would leave this room and try to infiltrate your opponents base via the middle walkway, the parallel stairs, or the road less traveled which are the tunnels that could be open, or could be closed… 1-2 The sniper you see is directly over the heart of the base, if the attackers have a sniper and a few battle rifles on this platform the middle will be very hard to travel… 1-3 This is the top of the defenders base, the flag, and the bomb plant spot are both directly below that sloped hole. You can arm the bomb very quickly, or quickly grab the flag and go around back and up through the middle, or you can look into the tunnel and take it if it's open, so the defense must be on their toes. This map is also set up for asymmetric and symmetric territories, symmetric territories are linear for games like conquest, or staggered territories for one sided grab game types... 1-4 top right, this is the tunnel that the attackers can take if they want to go right. Top left, this is the adjacent tunnel on the left side of the attackers, "both tunnels are open for the first 20 - 40 seconds of the game." Bottom left, this is the right side of the defenders base, you have to come over here to get back to the top middle, or you can take the tunnel. Bottom right, this is the left side for the defenders base, you can get to the top middle from here, as well as the tunnel...
I played it yesterday, it plays fairly nicely but looks a little bland imo. Perhaps maybe a little more cover, and something on top of the ugly ass default foundry floor.
thanks guys, well I'm glad you at least appreciated the anchor tags alby... It's just a asymmetric map on foundry, I wasn't going for ground breaking originality! Although you could say that the random doors are somewhat original, anyways I was going for more of a design element, and a perfectly interlocked map... But thanks for the comments guys, keep em coming. I didn't want to much cover one the map, I wanted it to be fast passed, and have a really small factory type feel to it... Perhaps your right, it just wasn't what I was going for... ps. thanks nitrous!
So what if it is original, still a well tackled map. Reminds me of Ivory Tower myself. And Running Chron, you might want to update the post. The anchor tags do not work anymore
I really built the map around the doors, the ideal just hit me while I was messing around in forge one day with rusty, so I built a map around it... Thats my specialty I was actually going for a ivory tower feel, without making a remake of it...
