If you managed to get your hands on an illegitimate copy of Halo 3 ODST right now, but your account and possibly console might be permanently banned from xbox live if you played it, would you? why?
Everyone that plays illegitemate games knows to play them offline, you shouldn't get caught that way, with that being said, yes I would and I would play offline.
Na you wouldn't. Plus they spent all that money doing the voice acting, I wouldn't want to limit my experience
Didn't Solid Snake where one of those in his latest game? Anyhoo, no I would not; the risk is not worth the reward, given that you can play it legit less than a month later without any risk. (RROD not withstanding) Naturally people with large ego's and small pen...dulums may think otherwise.
I would create a new profile that would never go online or anything. Then, when it was out for real, delete it and play on my account.
Thats great if the game isn't nuked. As there has only been 1 leaked copy onto the net, MS can nuke it... And as a result, any downloaded copy online.. Will happily.. Lead to everlasting... Banville>
My sentiments exactly. Though, I suppose if you can't wait... why not take it to a friends house and convince him to play it on his xbox?
some people have the game legitimatly that they brought from a shop that had a error for the release date these copies can be played without microsoft saying anything copies that were taken from stocks behind shops or anything like that are permaban worthy BUT if i had either copy i would play offline and ajust my date to the 22nd every day
legitimate, but not helpful. the real problem is getting a disc that can hold the whole game. All i have is 4.3GB discs. Doesnt matter anymore though. Out of respect for Bungie, i deleted the rip off my HDD without using it.
