So I went to Best Buy and preordered ODST. And they gave me a box. Like a game case, that has the cover of ODST and says "Preorder your copy today" I'm wondering, theres a small piece of paper in this box and does that mean its OK to take the shrink wrap off? EDIT: If you preorder ODST from a store such as Best Buy, and you order it in-store and not online, and recieve a preorder box, this is what you should do. All you need is the receipt that you preordered it so you can do whatever with the box. Now, seeing as ODST comes as two discs, one for ODST/Firefight and one for Multiplayer/Mythic, why not have a case for both instead of a double disc case that could risk scratching and such? Simply take the cover out of the pre-order box and do what you want with the Johnson code. Then, choose one of Teltuar's amazing covers depending on your region (spoilers below on tihs post) and print it at the right size. Now cut off any white paper still left and slip it into the case. Now you have a Mythic case that only needs the CD to be complete. NTSC: Spoiler PAL: Spoiler
Take it off, you can download starting a few days ago. As soon as you pop in ODST it will allow you to use Johnson. Also, seeing as ODST keeps both discs in one case, give me a minute and I'll get you a link to a thread I want you to see. Edit: http://www.bungie.net/Forums/posts.aspx?postID=36468885 Use your case for the MP disc for safety reasons.
Ahh good idea. I just didn't know if I had to give that case back is mostly all. Like its a voucher or something...
Neat. OK thanks! Heres what I found inside! Spoiler A Code! For Sgt. Johnson! The code is: Spoiler haha you looked... I'm in an odd mood tonight... Edit: If anybody else reads this thread, the Mythic Case looks ****ing sweet! Props to Teltuar for this kickass cover. (Take the cover out of the pre-order box and replace it with this one, simply print it to the right size (should be almost the length of a normal printer page) and cut it out. Voila!) Holy crap dude! Maybe I'm dumb, and everybody already knew this. But it says 1-4 player splitscreen... This had better mean for Firefight too, because that's definately where **** Zombies let me down...
Conker this is the case for the Halo 3 multiplayer disc. Halo 3 multiplayer is already 4 person split screen, Firefight is probably though, it makes sense. Otherwise it is at least 2 person...
It uses the Halo 3 multiplayer engine. That could mean no 4-player splitscreen. We should ask the French to attempt a game.
I think I remember hearing that like Halo 3 campaign, ODST and firefight will be 2 per box. But I'm not sure.
Oh by box you meant xbox. I was thinking you said, I misunderstood your use of "like" and which type of box you meant.
