Okay guys im in a bit of a predicament here. I know of a fake 1 v 1 map that has hidden teleporters in the walls that can get you to hidden rooms etc (its pretty funny). Newho. I know how to double tap receiver nodes etc into the floor and with trial and error get it in the perfect position, but this map has sender nodes glitched into the wall, witch brings me to my question, how the **** did this guy do it? I mean he couldnt turret glitch inside then push it in, so how did he do it? I can provide a link to the map so you can have a look if you need to.
you cant set teleporter to respawn never can you? EDIT: i forgot ghost merging:http://www.forgehub.com/forum/halo-forge-discussion/85959-new-forge-glitch.html
It can't be ghost merging, because ghost merges only work with OLN objects. There are no forgeable default teles on Sandbox, so not ghost merging. Maybe he just went under the map and put the tele close enough to affect a player.
To get the entirety of sender nodes two way nodes under/outside of a map, you teletap one of the two parts of the teleporter. Since you can no longer teletap the second part, you put an immovable object such as a single box (on foundry) or (on Sandbox) pretty much anything with enough height and width to prevent the teleporter from popping out from under it. Set it to not spawn at start, start a new round, and put the second part of the teleporter (the one still in the map) directly on top of the unspawned object's teardrop. You then go under the map yourself. To do that, spawn a single box/block on a flat surface and set it to not spawn at start. Start a new round and stand directly on top of the object's teardrop. Wait for it to spawn on top of you. Melee (I think that's the action that makes the object notice you're inside it.) and it should push you under the map. This may take a few tries before you can do it without dying, but become a monitor once you're under the map, not before, and don't wait until you're so far under that you die either. Now that you're under the map, fly over to the teleporter (the top part should be inside a box) and pick up the bottom part (or whatever part you can pick up). The object the teleporter's in should push it under the map just as it did you. Now just save/quit the teleporter where you want it. Just a tip, for the teleporter to actually teleport you when it's under/outside the map, it either has to be upside down with the bottom part (with the teardrop) directly touching the map's floor/wall, or it has to be sideways with the orange arrows facing away from the part of the map it's touching. This is a picture of what I mean by the teleporters being sideways:
You actually can ghost merge with non-OLN objects. I don't think it will work with teleporters though because you cannot change the respawn time.
Wow, I completely forgot about not being able to change the respawn rate of Teleprters. Now I feel like an idiot. But yeah, listen to Sotha. He knows what he's talking about.
Another viable method is to spawn whatever object you want to have tele-glitched (lets use a single box), and place a wall on one side. Set the single box to Spawn at Start: No and Respawn Rate: 180. Start a new round. After that, spawn another wall directly next to the first so that it would be in the box if the box was spawned. Now, place your teleporters with the teardrop on the second wall, once again so that they will be in the box when its pawned. Delete your walls, and force spawn your box, then the box should let you teleport. If you need help, FIR3 created a video in the forging tutorial playlist. Under the foundry map method is great but once inside geometry on other maps, as soon as your in, your out, death walls. Death yoyo, I hope your not trying to teach me how to interlock a teleporter with a damn box.
Would you mind actually saying which map you're trying to get teleporters out of? By the way, you don't need to actually go under the floor/outside to bring the second part of the teleporter down, you just have to be able to grab it while it's inside of the immovable object (I think ramp smalls (if that's what they're called) work well for sandbox). The only thing is that the teleporter becomes relatively hard to position (think using the teardrop for receiver nodes, but way more difficult) because the teleporters have five sides (rather than two like receiver nodes)
Then im sorry because I had no idea what your talking about, and didnt undestand the question. All you have to do is place the teleporter outside the map, with the tear drop on the wall, then get someone who isnt host to quickly press A on the teleporter. Or just mod the death barrier on the map...
