Because. We aren't just here just to be here. I'm sure everything in the world has a purpose. Cats or dogs entertain or fill the emptiness of being alone, if you are alone that is - Spiders eat mosquitos so you don't get Malaria or bitten at all. Ants and birds eat the **** we leave on the ground such as food. Camels, horses, mules are all used for transportation or working.

    Etc.

Um, no. Spiders don't eat mosquitos to prevent humans from getting sick. Spiders eat mosquitos because Spiders are higher up in the food chain then mosquitos and they do so because it is part of the ecosystem's food web. Animals and other creatures don't exist for our pleasure.

Then what do animals exist for.

Give a kid a pile of rocks. Tell him not to throw them. Wait to see how long it takes for the kid to start tossing them everywhere.

Is this sin to you? If you tell someone not to do something, it only makes them want to experiment it.

I walked outside barefoot to my car yesterday. On my way, I stepped on a pine needle. Why? No reason. There was no purpose for stepping on that pine needle.

First of all, this type of egotistic narcissism that humans have is one of the reasons I despise our race with a burning passion.

Second, we ARE animals. We have just evolved to a point we don't think of ourselves as animals anymore, but we are.

And all animals, including us, are supposed to work in a food web, a interlinking series of predators and prey that keep balance between each creatures population. Spiders eat insects to keep their population balanced, and other creatures eat spiders to keep them in balance and so on. If one species dies out, the rest are equally affected. Humans have taken themselves out of the equation, and by doing this we have put the rest of the animal kingdom in serious jeopardy.

Animals exist to live their own lives. They aren't for us to use at our own digression and they certainly shouldn't be considered souless, mindless creatures placed on earth for humans to use.

If that was the case, why are there animals that can and do hurt us? Like Sharks and bears and tigers and lions and poisonous frogs. Where is there usefulness to humanity?

Then that was God's test lol. He gave them free will to do whatever.

Only thing, don't eat the apple. Human nature will always kick in.

I hate the Christian theory that everything on earth is catered to our existence, and things like cyclones are to "curb the population" or are "God's wrath". Cats and dogs exist because they EVOLVED to exist, and then were DOMESTICATED, not by god, by us. Ant's and birds don't require humans to survive. They'd do fine without us, better even, spiders eat flies because that is their food source. Camels, horses and mules were domesticated, and deep down they don't want to be ridden (ever heard of Christopher Reeve)?

God is sadistic then. Especially because he is omniscient and knew beforehand they'd fail, but created them and punished them anyway. What kind of being does that?

If I was on an island with nothing to eat but a replenishing supply of delicious burgers and God told me not to eat them, I would kick him in the face and chow down.

    All I'm sayin'.

one that doesnt exist i'd assume. So many plot holes for a skeptic like me to even consider being true.

How is there a purpose and free will if there's a perfect being that created us knowing everything we'd do? We could all just stop doing anything because we think it's pointless and God would have seen it coming.

that's just cruel. How can you be willing to think that's how it is? Thats even less comforting than life not having purpose.

I'm still forced to go to church, I agree with what your saying about the people playing the fashion show crap.

God is religion. The fundimental belief in god makes up religion. Jesus is god so your statement is kind of a repeat of itself, saying I don't believe religion, i believe in the things that make it up". I guess you interpret religion as church. Then your right...

That's the kind of reason that, even if he was proved to exist, I would never in an eternity worship him. He's nothing less than a tyrant who loves to get his **** sucked.

He knowingly creates people that he knows in advance will go to hell, he condones slavery, infanticide, killing disrespectful children, killing homosexuals, etc, has killed millions and does it not just because he can, but to instill fear in those against him to get on their knees and suck.

I'd rather cannonball into the firey depths of Hell than worship a tyrannical God.

I'm sure if you made little blobs of people out of play doh you'd smash them and create more lol.

And you never told me what we evolved from.

also, norlinsky, your signiture. Is it talking about not staying in hell forever or what does that actually mean?

The rest we actually did ourselves. The fact that we can breed different cats and dogs is a huge proving point of evolution. If that's possible, if we let it go naturally dont you think the ones best suited for their environment have a better chance at living and breeding?
