Why does the second one look like a brontosaurus?

Lol cause that was the stock. I got killed and it was one of those moments where the game lags weirdly and the dead body goes crazy, so I took the pic of my spartan's head stretching like that.

Anyway, I see that you used our tuts for each sig respectively.

For the first one, I like it, but the one thing that I find is a problem is that the flow seems to be, or that it should be, heading up to the left, like the spartan is. But those C4D's or effects or something go opposing the flow at some points. Other than that it looks good.

As for the second one, looks great. Great job on the recoloring, and it looks good. I think the lighting is a little off, because the light source seems to come from the bottom, but the area next to that is very dark. Not that it really matters, I don't think it detracts from the sig at all really.

    Great work on both. =)

i like the first one better. it reminds me somewhat of BWC's work (he started this trend for those of you who didnt know!!!)

on the first one: try cropping the right side a bit, and maybe blurring the BG to create more depth. also, you don't really have a light source, but the BG is brighter on the spot where the light source should be, so it is already somewhat defined.

other than that, i really like that sig, great work.

On the second one: i dont really like the colouring on the visor D:

also, you put your light source in a weird spot.. it should be higher.. look at the reflection in the visor. good job on the clipping masks on this one though

Yeah, I put light sources coming from the top and the bottom, and some in the middle in both sigs.
