"In these tombs lie a resting place for the dead. Now they have been awakened, and the race to Outpost V37 has begun." By: Hemperson Intro: Version 2 Fixes: The grav lifts to the next room work more efficiently and weapon spawns changed. This is a remake of a Foundry classic of the same name. Although it consists of the same concept of a powerful, but slow zombie attacking the humans while they hold off until the passage to the next chamber opens, this map uses new ideas to pull off a more intense game. About the Game: The game starts with the slow alpha zombie in his cave, he then goes through the teleporter and the fun begins. The humans on the other hand are in the the first chamber, probably atleast one person will be foolish enough to go to the shield doors where the alpha zombie emerges. The humans will be shooting at the alpha zombie frantically, dishing out considerable damage, but since the alpha zombie has x4 Overshield and a lot of damage resistance, your true job will be just to distract the zombie. Distracting the zombie is the key in this first chamber, because this whole game is a race against time. If you successfully hold out long enough (45 seconds), a grav lift will spawn and let you proceed to the next chamber. The next chamber consists of sniper rifles and a flare, you may think it will take the alpha zombie ages to get there, but man cannons spawn to move the zombie(s) faster to your current chamber. After 45 more seconds, you will proceed to the next chamber. The third chamber is a hallway with instant spawn frag grenades and is a giant grenade spamfest. After 30 seconds you proceed. The fourth chamber is as you might notice made of wood with pallets in the floor to break and kill unsuspecting zombies. There are 6 spike grenades as well as one trip mine. This is by far the hardest chamber to survive in as you must hold out for 1 minute. Finally, if all goes well, you will have made it into the final chamber, where you shall make you last stand. (This many people do not usually get to the end.) This chamber, unlike the others is well defended. You will have 2 turrets, rockets, flamethrower, and a spartan laser. Also you have a teleporter back to the beginning. As hordes of zombies come through the teleporter, the last survivors heroically defend Outpost V37. Fat Kid.....omg. This map did not need a remake, Fat Kid is only fun as a human, it's a game that makes zombies want to gouge their own eyes out..Please play Fat Kid...never. Anyway, it's not amazing as a map, but it's a lot better than the original. You could have made a roof on each part? *cries self to sleep*
I remember playing this map a loooong time ago. It's absolutely terrible to be a zombie, because your transporter between the rooms relies on a grav lift/mancannon or whatever that is very obnoxious. That, combined with your lack of shields, makes the game crappy for the zombies, even if it is near-balanced. The game was difficult for the humans, but much funner.
me and my friends lo0ve 5 chambers, and you did a greta job. I really like the new addition you made; the pallets and wooden bridge chamber. can u still destroy the grav lifts and leave people stranded behind you?
All the rooms look so cheap! I hope the zombies either have damage resistance or are FAST because you admitted yourself the final chamber has 2 turrets, rockets, flamethrower, and a spartan lazer. Talk about CHEAP!
hav u ever played 5 chambers? the regular zombies r very fast 1 shots, their job is to wait for the alpha and when the alpha enters the last chamber they r distractions or they kill the easy people who r usally holding rockets or a splazer. If u hav never played before dont start flipping out its a balence game that offers fun gameplay
At the moment, it is still possible to destroy the grav lift, but I would consider it to be an honor rule to not do such a thing. Most likely 9/10 times you will not even get to the last chamber unless the alpha is bad or through pure luck, but even if you do it will be only about 3 or 4 ppl which can still be overrun by an coordinated attack. Thanks for the questions guys.
Good job for the 5 chambers ! I love the room with the pallets its look very Challanging ! But for the start we do not need to spawn with BRs !
