I think this is by Best Signature so far. I spent a while on this one, and it's better than anything I've done in the past. That's not saying a lot, but here it is.

The Render is really bad quality.
    Good size
Pretty good effects for a beginner.
    Text isn't that great.
    No Flow, Depth.

All I can say is try to find some tutorials mate.

The text was figity. I tried to do things to make it better, but no way I could find worked. The Render wasn't necessarily bad quality. I made it that way to make it look brighter. Much brighter,

Yeah, I'd say that Text is hardest to do on a signature.

Making it look THAT bright, makes it look bad quality. Darken it or put the original render in there and sharpen it.

(Not sure how to Sharpen on GIMP sorry.)

OK, I made two versions without so much blur on Link. One with text and one without.

The render looks a lot better, and the no text version is better ;]. One thing to work on is blending ;].

Hmm, okay. I'd stop the soft glow, sharpen your render a bit, and add a light source.

    1. I sharpened the render before I used softglow.
    2. I added a light source at the tip of his Wind Waker.

I want to show what the original render looks like:

Hopefully this may clear up any questions.

That softglow makes it look like poopoo.

As for the lighsource, I'd do:
    New Layer
Gradient, FG color set to transparent, mode on FG to transparent, Radial. Put the gradient by the wand. Then set to soft light, or turn to hard light and turn the opacity down a bit.

    That should help.

By Gradient do you mean Gardient Flare? Then where do I set Radial, Soft Light, Hard Light, and Opacity? I'm not very used to lighting effects.

OK, I made three new versions without Softglow.
