Is campaign co-op? If not... **** MAN, OMG ;O Can someone confirm please? I want to know so I can do glitching etc with friends, otherwise, if its going by halo 3 standards, campaign is **** ;l
Of course it's going to be 4 Player Co-Op.. Why would they remove one of the most popular features of Halo 3?
GBU Bungie ;p But I dont see how 4 player co-op can fit into the campaign? Halo 3 is easy to understand how it can fit but in ODST your fighting alone, so I just dont get how it could be
Halo 3 Co-Op makes less sense than ODST in my opinion. You have two random Elites following you as well as the Arbiter, how does that work out in some levels given their setting?! In ODST itself, as in, the game, you're part of a team of four ODSTs, so it would make a lot more sense. To me at least.
Super Sleuth - Find the final clue unraveling the mystery, alone or with another ODST. 10 Vidmaster Challenge: Classic - Finish any level solo on Legendary, on LIVE, with no shots fired or grenades thrown. 25 This is suggesting that you can play with at least 2 people campaign. But we're probably going to have 4 player co-op, I'm not sure why Bungie would take it out.
That may be that there is an elite following you in solo, and co-op 2 player makes some sort of sence in Halo 3 but there is no-one but you in ODST in solo, you may be a team of 4 but that team was split up and you go to different parts of the game and play as them. The only points I would think that there could be co-op is at them points when you play as them, but for when your running round on your own, I have no clue
I'm saying that there are also parts in H3 where you're supposed to be on the level on your own, yet you still have the Elites following you regardless if you're in Co-Op. Bungie sacrifice keeping true to the actual story so that you can play with three friends. I wouldn't be bothered by whether having others there actually makes sense.
The elites in h3 have their own back stories that tell you why they are there. As for ODST im as stumped as you guys, unless you start out on your own then after completing the play as your squad mate part your buddy gets to play along with you, Or which i think bungie might just do this, make ODST a 2 player co op, like h2 except 2 odst's fall and have to find their squad mates. It would make sense because i know some people prefered the h2 co op instead of h3.
I take it you guys have forgotten that in Halo:CE Split Screen, Player 2 was another Spartan! It's obvious staying true to the story/continuity isn't that important when it comes to Co-Op, so I don't see why 4 Player Co-Op with three other ODSTs won't happen.
Even though Master Chief was the only Spartan fighting on the Halo. The other was in critical condition in a cryo tube in orbit or something. So that makes co-op not make sense. Halo 2's co-op (split screen) didn't make sense. Halo 3's co-op didn't make sense. Halo ODST? How the **** should I know?
