That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard in this thread. The earth is anything BUT perfect. Everywhere on earth is dangerous to live if you don't know what you're doing. You're looking at life in a completely altered and ignorant manner. Like you could just sit down in the middle of the forest, pray, and expect to survive like that the rest of your life. And what's it proof of? A higher being? That's illogical. It means it's sustainable for life, which means we can pass on our genes and continue the species. Thanks for the famine, God! Far from it. Earth may be suitable to host life on it, but it doesn't make it perfect. Nature has a way of working things out (rather uncanny). It seems perfect because evolution can make its organisms survive in the most extreme temperatures. Working on the assumption that there is other life out there, we could be in another galaxy surviving just fine. Nothing makes this particular spot in the universe special. Out of all the planets in a solar system of a galaxy of a cluster of a supercluster (there's probably a higher classification but not known yet), we're the only ones to survive? To be in "the right place?" Scientists have recently found proof of water on Mars not in the polar ice caps. Assuming there is a plan for this universe by a higher being, why would there have been water on Mars? It doesn't need water, the only reason for there to be water on a planet is the creation of life. Could there have been a long lost Martian civilization previously wiped out? Did they think they were special? What are the odds of finding a planet so close to us that can have water on it? We are by no means special, only very lucky.

All you're giving me are assumptions. Okay, here's your proof. What do humans need to survive? Sunlight, warmth, air, water, gravity, time, shelter, vitamins, minerals, sugars, starches, fats, oils, amino acids, digestive enzymes, oxygen, brain, heart, lungs, kidneys, liver, pancreas, reproductive organs, sleep, homeostasis, excretion, morality, creativity, spontaneity, problem solving, acceptance of facts, self-esteem, humor, seriousness, confidence, achievement, respect of others, respect by others, new experiences, friendship, family, love, sexual intimacy, reliance on other species, security of: body, resources, morality, family, and health. Too little will not suffice, and too much is harmful. Yet, you say humans adjust to the Earth.. but why would they do that?? Nature, you say? OR maybe this "nature" is God. That's what you call limiting factors. Organisms need population limits or else everything will die out.
But why do we need the intelligence to create technology if Evolution only supports survival. Obviously humans are not perfect but we are still, far ahead from any other species on this planet you don't see monkeys creating religions. Violence is created by hate, we've had hate our entire times, animals don't have hate. Competition is our only link to animals which humans don't support which is why many of us fight for equality. So how can you say we are animals when we act nothing like them. Morals? Why don't animals have their morals?
Alright, let's put this in even simpler terms by playing a quick game. I am going to list the numbers 1-10: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10. These represent 10 potential animals on earth. Oh oh! The earth only supports the number 5, so we can kill off every other number. What are we left with? 5. You would say: That 5 is perfectly fitted to live on the earth - it must be god that made that 5!! How else can you explain that 5 being so perfect for its environment?
But where do species 1-10 come from? All I'm saying is that life comes from something. You guys call this something mother nature and I choose a more fitting explanation, which actually addresses the beginning of everything; God.
well acturly, the correct idea is probaly the most simple one, and i dont think a giant in space that makes planets and lives in a bunch of clouds is that simple the big bang is a theroy, which means its not proven right. and sciece has proven much more than religeon rotation: christians thought that the earth was in the middle of the universe and was flat, peope who belived otherwise were probably treated as a witch, science proved that wrong by the telescope eveloution: no such thing did exiss in the religeon of god, until a good man called chares darwin took a species of bird, saw the subspecies, they were different, the beaks were unique, one of the birds was strong and large for nuts, another was a smal bea to get seeds from holes and trees

Either way, my belief is that God is behind evolution and the beginning of everything. Also, please come up with your own stuff, don't just go around quoting people because you think they're correct. Question: How do you know cats think? Answer: You don't. You simply believe scientists when they tell you. Another reason why I choose to be a Christian is that I can relate to it in a much better way, and I know about it through personal experiences. I just listen to people when it comes to science.

Darwin was neither Atheist nor Religion, he was an agnostic (not that it matters). You can hardly blame Darwin though, not only did he only have an 18th century scientific base for all his ideas, but the church had tremendous social influence.
We know that cats think because they can clearly investigate and then attempt to understand objects. They may not be on the same level as crows or chimps, but cats are "smart" organisms. They are definitely aware of their surroundings and quite capable of controlling their emotions (via their purrs) to fit their needs (or their humans). That's what a religion is. Something you believe in. Science is NOT a religion. Science is the system for acquiring knowledge through the scientific method.
