Sandbox El Camino

hm this looks very interesting and nicely forged, although that would be kind of easy considering the fact that its so flat and probably built on the gridlines of the skybubble. Also it looks to be a very short race track, you should have made it longer especially since it is built for speed. Also since it is so flat it seems to be almost impossible to get ahead of people, because everyone will be full throttling it the whole time, and there are walls everywhere so you cant fall off. Although you might not like the banks and everything, it would improve your track much more and more people would be interested in it. I dont really mind much about this but lately everyone else cares alot about aesthetics. Since you made it so small and it looks like you didnt use much items, i would suggest maybe building a city around it as if it was el camino? There are alot of touchups you could make but overall this does look very smooth. i will download it but none of my friends are on so ill just give it a test drive and give you a not fake review

EDIT: alright i havent played with a big group of people yet but basically what i said above is true. For the first three laps it was very fun to drift, because they you basically had to drift and they were perfect for them. After that though it got really boring. Also i found that the checkpoint is cheatable. if you stand on one of the columns then slowly walk into the teleporter, you will get a point before you go through. You might want to fix that up. Also i know you didnt recommend it as a gametype or anything so this isnt that big of a deal, but it would be terrible for battle tracks, because there are no lines of sight. Of course thats no big deal though, just saying. Also what i said above isnt true about it being all on the gridline, most of it wasnt. For the first three laps, 4/5. for the rest 3/5

 

Hmm, then maybe you could remove some of the barricades that arent very needed in some places?

 

This map is a refreshing change from the more "bendy" race tracks not that they are bad just that everyone has made one.
It has a go-kart kind of feeling to it which is just fun in a simpler and different form.
There are plenty of budget glitched maps on Forgehub that you can DL and that makes the OLN your only worry. Overall great race map. Kudos

 

Hey this is my first constricutive comment so let me be claer and honest.
What I like most has to be the overview and layout, but unfourtunatly, most sandbox lovers think it would be best to have banked turns, but you have ledges , so that makes up for that.
3.9/5 for on how long it is. I think it wounld be much better if it was a little longer.

 

I recommend freeing up some space by deleting some of the border. I mean, if you make a racetrack in the skybubble, people are meant to fall off if they are crappy drivers. And with added space you can refurbish the map a little by adding a few more turns (possibly a banked one). But if it is truly meant for speed, you should have a long stretch with some ramps on it, for diversity. So anyway, I'll give this a 3/5 because it looks very nicely crafted, but I'd rather fall off the level than ram a wall and majorly slow down my speed, which this map was created for speed.

 

Most of the people who are replying to this dont know what they are talking about. If its fully bordered its obviously a tournament track...NOT BATTLETRACKS. It may be tricky to pass, but it is not too hard. Racing is not always supposed to be easy, like most racers think (no offense). Its a simple short track, which is not bad at all. Good job.

You do realize this track is cheat able without gravity lifts or man cannons at the finish line? Besides, this track doesn't feel like it's 'built for speed' when you play it because of the amount of times I hit those god damn walls. x(
