Midnight and MLG Midnight Created by: Ninja Shizoku Supported Gametypes: Built for all MLG Gametypes and normal FFA, TS, CTF, KOTH and Oddball Map Description Midnight is an Inovative remake of "Midship" from Halo 2. I did what I could with the space provided and I love how this map turned out. I spent alot of time with the interlocking and it shows, I'm kind of a perfectionist and like running on smooth surfaces, don't you? In the MLG version there is a mauler (replacing sword) also in the middle there is a floating custom power-up. The carbine, plasma pistol and nades are in the same spot as in the original map. In the Matchmaking version I have removed the floating custom power up, added the shotgun and the sword back were they go. I've added a mauler inside each base, needles and mongeese have been added to the carbine side of each base. On P-3 you'll find Spartan Lazer, also there are 2 fire nades up on the carbine side. On the floor in front of carbine side there is a deployable cover, on the floor on pink side there is a grav lift. There is a bubble shield on top carbine, regenerator in the middle (under sword on the bridge) and a power drain inside P-2. This is not a an exact remake of Midship, it was created in the likeness of midship. I think the best example of what im saying is Midnight is to Midship as Gaurdian is to Lockout, I hope you understand and enjoy. I did, and it worked like a charm. At least the map is smoother than the post. Maybe I should fix it? done.
You are totally right, that middle platform is a little off I'll fix that. Oh and how could I have forgotten to remove the crane thus making it even on both sides.
this seems like a good map but the regen and bubble sheild are not mlg material and i think instead of crates in the middle u should of put standing two standing barriers together to make it look better.I also thnk that u have made the map to wide because u have cut some parts off.But anyways great map and it eems like it has potential good job.=)
This is what I posted on the remake thread. I don't know if you were messing around with the mongoose, laser, and regenerator, but they don't seem very Midship or MLG like.

Okay, but I still don't think a mongoose and laser belong on any Midship. I guess they could work if the map was bigger than the original. I just don't really like the idea of larger rectangular midship. It has been redone as a spiritual successor many times (ie. Onslaught), and that would be fine with this map too. But, everything is the exact same except for the size of it. Maybe I am judging it too harshly from the screenshots because everything looks fantastic about it outside of the layout. I would download it and get back to you, but my xbox is in the shop. I wish you would show more screenshots of the bases and the ramps around the map.

Whoa, watch it there buddy. You have a solid map but just give it time, people will comment. And if they don't, you still can't double post, or especially triple post.
